Preventative maintenance for your materials handling machine

In order to keep your machine working at maximum efficiency, it is imperative that Preventive Maintenance is performed on a regular basis. Our service policy is to identify and help you prevent problems before they occur which could result in significant downtime.

With a Nerak Preventive Maintenance Inspection visit, your machine will receive a full service by an experienced and fully trained engineer(s). This visit will incorporate a visual inspection and testing of the machine, with a detailed report being issued on the machines condition, highlighting any current or potential problems. It will also include minor remedial works i.e. greasing bearings, re-alignment/adjustment of belts. replacing small quantities of spring clips.

Nerak provide Service Level Agreements (SLA) tailored specifically to suit our client’s needs. All SLA’s include regular internal review meetings covering performance that monitors site return sheets and risk assessment reports. These meetings are also used to inform clients of any changes or improvements pertinent to their Nerak machines and processes.

You can call the Nerak Service Support Desk at any time during normal working hours. Offering a next day service to out SLA clients. This is manned by specialist staff who in many cases can diagnose and solve a customer’s problem without the need for an engineer site visit.

Planned Service & Maintenance 

At Nerak there is no such thing as Install and forget, we work with our clients to provide continuous support and maintenance of your machines.

Our service and support group consists of a team of fully qualified and highly experienced engineers and technicians all trained to a high standard specialising on all aspects of pre-and post-sales support, repair, maintenance and service support. This alongside standard warranties and maintenance plans, ensures that you can maintain protection and reliability at all times.

Nerak engineers have the skills and the experience which enables them to look out for specific problems that may arise on your machine from the environment it needs to work in. It also allows for any parts that are wearing to be identified thereby reducing the likelihood of machine breakdowns. Additionally, it enables you to budget for any parts that may need replacing in the future.

Preventative maintenance from regular servicing such as replacing worn parts allows your machine to work at its most efficient all times. By having a skilled engineer regularly coming to your site it allows the engineer to understand the demands placed on your machine, and be able to provide advice and recommendations, in the form of a written report.

To ensure regular servicing, we encourage our customers to take out a service agreement. The plan is tailored to your needs and we will visit your site as little or as often as is needed to ensure your machine is maintained to the highest of standards. We will contact you when the service is due and make the necessary arrangements – meaning one less task for you to remember to do!

Engineer machine Training

With over 40 years experience, Nerak has the highest level of knowledge and competence, understanding issues involved in your automated material handling systems.

Nerak offers a choice of training options from in-situ operator training to tailored process-specific training packages. Additionally, services such as technical assistance and ad-hoc training are available firing and after the investment phase, Nerak service Engineers are qualigied to train your production, operational & maintenance personnel in the most efficient operation of your Nerak equipment. Training sessions are normally held at on-site but can be undertaken at our own premises or, by arrangement, at another convenient location.

LOLER Certificates

We provide LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) certification from a qualified engineer.
