Preventative Maintenance for your machine

After the installation of your machine has taken place we work with you to provide continuous support and maintenance increasing the longevity of the machine.

Regular Preventive Maintenance keeps your machine working at maximum efficiency and we encourage all our customers to have a Service Level Agreement with us.

Our Service and Support Group consists of a team of fully qualified and highly experienced engineers and technicians who are experts on all aspects of repair, maintenance and service support.

This, alongside standard warranties and maintenance plans, ensures that you can maintain protection and reliability at all times.

Service Level Agreements

Nerak provide Service Level Agreements (SLA) tailored specifically to suit your needs.

  • Site visits can be as often or as little as required for the environment your machine operates in and the level of risk associated with that environment.
  • A full visual inspection and testing of the machine by an experienced and fully trained engineer(s) is carried out.
  • A detailed report is issued to you on the machines condition, highlighting any current or potential problems.
  • The service visit also includes minor remedial works i.e. greasing bearings, re-alignment/adjustment of belts, replacing small quantities of spring clips.
  • Our engineers will discuss any information about any changes or improvements pertinent to your Nerak machines and processes.
  • Internally we hold regular review meetings to monitor the health check done on your machine by our engineers.
  • Our Aftercare Department will liaise with you where appropriate to ensure you receive any required spare parts or follow up visits required.

You can plan in your maintenance for a time which is most convenient for you and your teams.

Our recommendations with regard to any spare parts needed are categorised on your service report sheets noting their level of risk.

This allows you to budget for any parts that may need replacing in the future within an advised timescale based on our expertise.

Our engineers will also explain to you about the demands being placed on your machine which influence your parts and advise you on the best way to look after your machine.

Specialist staff will take your call who in many cases may be able offer a diagnosis where applicable and support your enquiry without the need for an engineer site visit.

We can offer a next day or same day service for any stocked spare parts to all our SLA clients where required.


Engineer Machine Training

With over 40 years experience, Nerak has the highest level of knowledge and competence, understanding issues involved in your automated material handling systems.

Nerak offers a choice of training options from in-situ operator training to tailored process-specific training packages.

Additionally, services such as technical assistance and ad-hoc training are available during and after the installation phase.

Nerak service Engineers are qualified to train your production, operational & maintenance personnel in the most efficient operation of your Nerak equipment.

Training sessions are normally held at on-site locations but can be undertaken at our own premises or, by arrangement, at another convenient location.

LOLER Certificates

We provide LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) certification from a qualified engineer.


If you take care of your machine, your machine will take care of you and Nerak are happy to assist in all of your machine’s needs.
