NERAK Engineer Howard White had an unexpected victory at the Bristol Bike Show recently.
He was asked to attend by an old associate and was delighted to get the sparkling Beeline out for the crowds.
Howard had never attended this particular show before and was keen to see what it was like, it’s also free which makes it even more popular!
“It was in a great part of Bristol with lots going on and people and bikes from all walks of life.” Howard said.
There are some brilliant photos here of the event which capture the ambience of the day. https://lnkd.in/ef5WsMy
There was plenty of food, drink and music as bands and singers gathered around the streets to entertain the munching spectators enjoying a bap and a crafty pint from the local.
Howard was shocked and delighted to receive his Rosette and Engraved Tankard for Best Engineered Bike in show, we joked that his Trophy Shelf must be running out of room after the many successes of this wonderful bike.
If you have never followed Howard’s story of the Beeline and want to know about its history as a family heirloom and the fun they’ve had racing it you can read all about it here. https://www.nerak-wiese.co.uk/2018/05/21/elvington-airfield-check-one-nerak-engineer-check-british-sunshine-surprisingly-check-and-a-very-royal-wedding-day-what-more-could-you-want-for-a-race-weekend/
