Platform Elevator Animation

‘S’ or ‘Z’ shaped configuration

The above animation outlines the principle of operation of a standard ‘S’ or ‘Z’ shaped platform elevator. Loads are discharged on the opposite side of the machine to the infeed station.

The design allows the platform to remain rigid during the lifting phase and flexible for the return journey to the infeed station.

Very high through-puts of up to 3000 units per / hour can be acheived.

’C’ shaped configuration

When it is not possible to fit a standard ‘S’ type machine due to site restrictions, a ‘C’ shaped machine offers an alternative.

Loads are discharged on the same side of the machine to the infeed station.

Through-puts are slightly reduced compared with the standard unit.
